He was soaring throw the air. He could see the trees passing beneath his claws and beneath his wings. The outlaying mountain ranged grew as he glided towards it. As he reached the base where the forest ended and the rocky cliffs started, he started pumping his wings to raise him up the mountain. The cold air bounced off his green scales as he passed the snow cap. He still continued his ascent up the mountain side until he reached the highest peak of the entire range and landed on it, looking out upon the clouds that it towered over. He felt a sense of well being as the clouds roared against the mountain like storm waves do against rocky shores. He looked up to the black night sky and stared at the stars. Next to him he heard a voice of a woman.
“Why are you up here, child? Go back down before you hurt yourself.”
Jae turned to see a female woman staring at him in the eyes. “No. No, I’m a rider mother. I am no longer a child.”

Jaerus: Chapter 1 - A Crazy Question
It was midday, noon on the hilltop. The sun was bathing the Caxian House Complex's straw rooftop with light as well as the neighboring trees surrounding the building. The Complex housed five fifteen year old boys, three fifteen year old girls and eight adolescent dragons whose genders matched their partners. They were all novice dragon riders, sent to the complex because it was rider tradition. Here they train and carry out the tasks that headquarters sends to them. Today was the day after a test which was a rather tough one and most of the novices were sleeping in their bunks. However, two of the more elite novices and their dragons stayed awake to keep guard over the complex in case anything was to arise. One was an Ursin girl named Tzaol and the other, a Human boy, was named Jae. Tzaol was brown furred and brown eyed, and stood about the average height of a Human man, which was normal for her kind. Jae was also average for a Human, standing about five inches shorter than Tzaol. He had white skin, black hair, and green eyes.

Processes of a Dragon Rider
Initiation
Every organization has a way of testing new members. The PDRs are no different. Every one of the initiates are hand chosen by the Elder Dragon Riders when they are born as possible future riders. At Age 5, the chosen are sent to a PDR Academy. The parents of the chosen almost will always make their children go since it is an honor to be a parent of a Dragon Rider. At the academy, the initiates will study the arts of war and fighting with the addition of traditional learning such as mathematics, read, writing, and magic. They will learn what most children learn in 10 years in only 3 years, no more, no less. At the end of the scheduled academics, the initiates will take an exam over all the subjects they learned. The exam isn't the decider if the initiate becomes an apprentice, this is the decision of a master wishing to take on an apprentice and he/she will choose the one they see most fit. Because of this, only around 10% of initiates will become apprentices. The other 90% will almost always be offered an apprenticeship with a trade profession depending on their exam scores. The new apprentices are now virtually permanent members of the PDR and will be trained and taught by their new masters.

Pangean Universe Footnotes One
There are three different sects of the creators:
-The Law: Keeps the laws of the universe (Such as physics) under control. Also in charge of judging mortal civilization. Most powerful of the three in order to keep balance.
-The Spirit: Overseas the distribution of energy and magic across Pangea. Also in charge of mortal spirits.
-The Earth: Overseas the matter of the Universe. Also in charge of keeping the mortals' faith in line.
(*Each sect has angels and immortal dragons to help keep everything in order. Angels and dragons are practically the same thing in Pangea except for dragons are more corruptible and have more free-will than angels which have to follow codes. Spirits are also angels of the spirit, hence "Guardian Angels".)

The Beginning of Pangea
After the beginning the creators made the twelve immortal guardians of Pangea and to each guardian a weapon was forged to help them in their task. The twelve guardians created ten immortal children each, the second generation. This generation then gave birth to a much larger mortal third generation, which was separated into ten sects for each of the second generation children. There was peace and stability in Pangea until the Aryians started their invasion of the planet.

The Elven
Elegant and mysterious are the ruins of elven cities that were left after what seemed to be a massive battle with some mysterious force. There remains no known large elven kingdoms, but some theorize a hidden kingdom within forests where an occult breed of elf lives. However, no proof has been found by humanoid(Human, Dwarf, Halfing, Elf, Orc, Goblin) and bestial(Erkrai, Ursin, Wylrie) races. The elven race generally has pointed ears and pristine bodies. They live much longer than most of the humanoid races and keep a body devoid of age until their very later years.
The Human Race
Humans are very diverse and come in many shapes and sizes. Their ability to adapt to any environment let's them easily expand into new regions, but their tendencies to selfishness cause them to encroach upon other races' lands. The human race is the most populated out of all the races and because of this, racism towards other races develops in the human race the most but it is not limited to humans.
The Ursin Race
The Ursin race started off as an empire concentrated in one spot. But after the empire began to spread, they became more culturally diverse and the Empire died in war between two factions of them and two other neutral factions watched as their brethren fought against each other. The Ursin race is that of a humanoid-bear people.
Drakonids
The Drakonid race is one of punished dragons who lost their wings and legacy from disobeying a powerful being. These dragons retain their power but do not hold their status.
Old Lore of Relay Beacons
Relay beacons do what their names suggests. They relay magic energies that is summoned beneath the ground via portal. These beacons are massive and can scale to up and beyond the height of a mountain. These beacons are visible from space. There a different parts to a beacon. You have the transmitter tower, which channels the energy from the hole in the ground up and around the planet. You then have the rift hole, which houses the portal and its stabilizers. You then have the outer rings, which encircle the rift hole.
Old Lore of the Gods
Most people see gods as almighty, unkillable, unmatched in power, etc. However, the Gods in Valiu are none like this. They are indeed powerful and immortal, but they can be killed. God is a loosely used word.
The Wolfkin Race
Wolfkin is used as a very loose description of a race. Wolfkin are a race that have the physical characteristics of a wolf. Wolfkin isn't used by intelligent races to describe many of the types of Wolfkin
The Ursen Race
Ursen are a race of bear people that feature many bear traits, such as claws, mass, fur, etc. They follow the Bear God Ilfora and he two children. They are separated into four distinct races based on fur color and size. They are known to Humans as the Northern Ursen, the Grizzled Ursen, the Woodland Ursen, and the Dark Ursen. Each race has a distinct Culture and look.

Area Description - Urbia
A booming metropolis houses a great variety of races and people. When compared to some of the most civilized towns, Urbia makes them look savage. Urbia is split up into three districts: The social district, the military district, and the government district. From above the three sections complete a walled circle with aqueduct roots that make their way out into the surrounding area.
